Get ready fans for a once in a lifetime event from LucasFilm Limited!
The masterpiece musical themes created by John Williams for the entire Star Wars film saga have been assembled along with a film montage of each. It will be presented by a live orchestra with the images projected on a giant, specially constructed LED screen unlike any visual presentation ever taken on tour. Like all Lucas creations it is high technology at it's best!
If this marvelous two hour concert weren't enticing enough here's another reason to bring the family down to Key Arena on Tuesday, October 13. The tour will include an exhibition assembled by the Lucasfilm archivists from a 30 year collection of props, costumes, models, illustrations and storyboards, some of which have never before been viewed by the public.
This is where members of the Rebel Legion and Fighting 501st come into the picture. Before and following the concert, our film accurately costumed characters will be passing through the exhibit areas providing opportunities for kids (of all ages) and parents to take their picture with their favorite figures from the silver screen. This is a rare opportunity for us from Alpha Base and Garrison Titan to be part of an appearance commissioned by our patron saint George Lucas. When this happens, we pull out all the stops for film accuracy and interaction with our fan public!
Check out the visuals and information at www.starwarsinconcert.com then get your tickets for the concert. But most of all, come down and visit with us and look into the collection of artifacts that made the film saga a reality. Hope to see you there, perhaps wearing your own favorite Star Wars costume!
